After majoring in illustration and design at Mass College of Art, Sue Dragoo Lembo continued to follow her creative spirit. While working as a graphic designer, she also focused on learning as much about painting as possible. She continued her studies with some of the best known painters in the U.S. including John Kilroy, Kim English, Qiang Huang, Carol Marine and Albert Handel just to name a few.
After a fulfilling career in graphic design, Sue finally decided it was time to pursue her true passion and became a full time painter.
Sue paints in the studio and on location. Her subjects include still-life, landscape and figures in the landscape.
Her style is a mix of realism and whimsy depending on the subject. Her skills as an illustrator and graphic designer have heavily influenced the design in her oil paintings. She believes good design is the most important aspect of any work of art.
