TRACI NOONE

Traci Noone lived most of her younger life in a small, rural town at the geographic center of Massachusetts named for the redness of the soil. She enjoyed digging dirt in the backyard, riding bikes, reading books, and the beauty of the native mountain laurel.

Traci studied Fine Arts at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Today, she is an artist, educator and naturalist. She resides on Cape Cod where she has been making and learning about pots for the past fifteen years. She exhibits locally, and as Mountain Laurel Pottery, she sells her pots and the flowers that she grows to accompany them at the Farmers’ Market in Orleans.

Traci also received a Cultural Council Grant for her work with elementary school children- “Kids Creating: Clay Bowls for Hunger.”

Currently, she is an active member and president of the Cape Cod Potters.
