Grace Emmet is an eco-artist as well as a teaching artist, education program director, forager, and sustainability advocate.
She holds her BFA in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has worked as a commercial designer, certified art teacher, and museum educator and curator. In 2021, Grace was selected as a Mass Cultural Council Creative Youth Development Fellow. Grace’s work has been shown in galleries, museums, and universities across Massachusetts.
Grace’s current work centers on her fascination with the natural world and how our lives intertwine with the beauties and complexities around us. Grace believes in building awareness around sustainability through art and education and strives to implement sustainable habits in her own artistic practice and daily life. She now lives and works out of the beautiful nook of Outer Cape Cod tucked in-between two seasides. She is equally fond of being out on the beach and deep in the pine forests in search of seashells, mushrooms, and surprises.
